On the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany: Germany’s highest official design award, presented by the Federal Ministry of Economics and organised by the German Design Council. Only products proposed by the federal or a state ministry of economics, and already recognised with a national or international design award, could be nominated.
Architectural recognition
Post Tower, Bonn – For the wayfinding system of DHL headquarters, Lengyel Design developed three design directions, each attuned to the building's glass-and-steel architecture, and presented them as full-scale models. The selection was made by Helmut Jahn, the tower's architect.

– Prize for Outstanding Academic Achievement
University-wide prize for the diploma project – awarded once per faculty and year; Faculty of Engineering Design and Production Engineering, University of Stuttgart.
This award represents the engineering core of Lengyel Design's work: the ability to work through technical complexity methodically – and to turn it into product architectures that design can shape. The project was commissioned by industry.
